RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for day-to-day management and execution of paid cost-per-click (CPC) and organic search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns for all agency clients across platforms and geographies
  • Use search engine optimization (SEO) knowledge to assist clients and the agency in generating fully optimized content and content strategies to direct web traffic and customer interactions in tandem with integrated campaigns
  • Manages organic search for all client websites to ensure optimal performance and maximum rankings for targeted keywords through continuous auditing and competitive analysis
  • Conducts SEO keyword research, develops internal linking strategies, and creates content of META titles, META descriptions, META keywords, and image ALT text to improve performance of client websites

  • Grows and optimizes CPC campaigns through testing (A/B and multivariate) with ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, negative keywording, etc.
  • Serves as the primary contact and subject-matter expert for paid search with both internal and external contacts, including Google and Bing, and other designated search engines
  • Researches, collects and analyzes website and campaign data, leveraging internal and external resources, and data sources to report on successes and actionable opportunities for paid search programs
  • Negotiates for pay-per-conversion opportunities
  • Generates and disseminates management reporting to ensure that the account team is aware of campaign performance trends

The Media Manager is responsible for the research and planning of the use of media, for the selection of specific media, and for ordering space and time. The Media Manager needs to be well-versed in all types of media, and must stay current with the rapidly changing landscape of new media options. The Media Manager provides support and follow-up to the account services team, for all client media needs.

The Media Manager is the agency expert when it comes to media opportunities. The Media Manager answers media calls and emails, collects information for the account services team, and indicates to the media representative that the information will be evaluated and shared with the client or account team. ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Is the primary media contact for the agency and answers all calls/emails from media representatives, gathering any information required for discussion with the appropriate Marketing Manager
  • Coordinates agency meetings with media representatives
  • Collaborates with Marketing Managers and other account services team members to understand client buyer profiles
  • Prepares budgets, media plans and advertising calendars in accordance with client budgets, in collaboration with Marketing Managers
  • Creates media evaluations, as requested, through contacting publications and other media to obtain information, requesting and reviewing media kits to obtain information, meeting with media representatives, etc.
  • Presents media recommendations, budgets and plans to the NDG team and clients, and builds trust with colleagues and clients through demonstrated media expertise
  • Develops insertion orders, cancellation orders and change requests
  • Coordinates deadlines with Marketing Managers to ensure creative deadlines are met
  • Continuously updates client media plans and budgets as needed
  • Releases final print, email, mobile and online display banner advertisements to media contacts
  • Maintains digital and/or hard copies of media reference files (proposals, contracts, insertion orders, reports and invoices) for easy access by Marketing Managers
  • Reconciles client media budgets monthly, and provides updated budgets to Marketing Managers
  • Manages the collection and accuracy of all website analytics, CPC, email, print, mobile, and online display banner ad campaign reporting (NOTE: Marketing Managers will be responsible for analysis of reporting; the Media Manager will oversee the creation of all NDG formatted reports with support from the Marketing Assistant)
