We’re NDG Communications, an award-winning advertising agency located just 34 miles from DC in lovely La Plata, MD.

You are
a seasoned Art Director with solid experience designing for interactive and print—no kidding, you have designed eblasts, banner ads, landing pages, websites and mobile sites and/or apps. You are meticulous about details. You might even be looking for a shot at Associate Creative Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop creative ideas and execute deliverables for projects including html emails, flyers, ads, direct mail, websites, social media, blogs, etc.
• Collaborate with creative director, designers, programmers and account team
• Help ensure quality and consistency across projects and clients
• Mentor junior designers, as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong attention to even the smallest details while keeping an eye on the big picture
• 5-10 years professional design experience
• Excellent time management skills are a must
• Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills / Mac OS platform
• Solid, professional portfolio of interactive/web and print design work

This is a Account Executive-Track position

ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help coordinate and manage client projects and day-to-day tasks for Account Executives
  • Proof all materials and update all relevant information
  • Provide account management staff with administrative support within the agency and at client meetings
  • Create documentation, follow up with contacts, execute all client requests
  • Attend all internal meetings with Account Executives to create documentation and notes

Responsible for day-to-day activities of servicing accounts including strategic research and recommendations, presentations, media planning, event planning, budgeting, campaign response reporting, and brainstorming ideas.

- + Director of Digital Strategy

We’re NDG Communications, an award-winning advertising agency located just 34 miles from DC in lovely La Plata, MD. You are a management-level professional with extensive interactive media experience, including strategy development, web management, web marketing and promotion, mobile marketing, social media knowledge and client service experience. The Director of Digital Strategy supervises and assists the current digital development team in execution of all web-based interactive projects for the agency and its clients. 


Responsibilities

  • Build, lead and mentor the interactive development team, ensuring adherence to strategy, brand, and process
  • Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to strategically plan the execution of all interactive projects
  • Develop and convert strategies into interactive concepts, helping to meld technology with creative execution
  • Manage all interactive projects and resources, and provide input across multiple projects
  • Ensure projects proceed without a hitch, with an eye on process and detail
  • Examine analytics/web metrics of client sites, providing solutions for improvement according to business objectives and supporting data
  • Support the dissemination of UI/X findings and industry best-practices
  • Constantly scour the web, mobile, and off-line products for design and UX inspiration
  • Build and grow our digital development capabilities
  • Educate other team members, as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years experience, preferably in an agency environment
  • Ability to conceptualize, plan and execute strategic digital solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience and high competency managing and directing an interactive team
  • Advanced Knowledge of XHTML, CSS, XML, JS, JQUERY, COLDFUSION, PHP, and custom-module creation and maintenance
  • Development of responsive CSS for desktop browser, iPad, and mobile device viewing
  • Advanced knowledge of cross-browser/platform issues, user interface requirements, debugging and code solutions
  • Working knowledge of both Application and Database Server principals, set-up and scripting
  • Strong time management skills and resource management capabilities
